Summer program 2023
What's new
Outside, there is not much to remind us of the warm season - but we are trying to attract some summer feeling by finally publishing our summer program! As usual, we will fill the Thursdays ahead with various activities for both young and old.
Read the full program to find your favorite - we hope there will be something that appeals to you!
Einar Wallquist, who founded the museum, is said to have said in his time that it must never stand still. And we try to live up to that! This year we have a new stand in the exhibition From Nature where we focus on food storage - before the time of the fridge and freezer! The stand and its theme lay the foundation for this year's edition of the Museum's hiding places.
A popular program item that has become an annual feature is Bertil Sundkvist's display of material from his large photo collection. This year the theme is Where, who or what?
If you feel like getting out and learning more about some of our ancient sites, the inauguration of the AR experience at the old marketplace might be an activity that appeals to you!
Whatever you choose, we wish you a warm welcome to an active museum summer!
