Collaboration on small game and fish in Arjeplogsfjällen

Rádestit

The local actors who participated in the project Rádestit - Local collaboration in Arjeplog, are now moving forward, developing and ensuring a continuation of the collaboration they started. This is through the Leader project Rádestit - collaboration on small game and fish in the Arjeplog mountains.

Målet med projektet är att bilda och etablera Rádestit samverkansorganisation, anta nödvändiga styrdokument, genomföra en ”årsstämma”, samt att utreda möjlig framtida drift av organisationen. Underlag ska tas fram för lokalt övertagande av skötseln när så blir möjligt. Ett koncept med rekommendationer för hur lokala arrangörer av jakt – och fisketurism kan bidra till lokal utveckling och erbjuda upplevelser på platsens villkor. Det ska testas av minst tre arrangörer. Dessutom ska minst ett fjällfiskeforum och ett småviltforum arrangeras i samverkan med Länsstyrelsen, Argentis och kommunen. Rádestit är det pitesamiska ordet för att rådgöra.

The aim of the project is to help strengthen and develop Arjeplog as an attractive living environment, where the Sámi as an indigenous people and other actors in the local community are included and given joint opportunities in a local collaborative solution.
