About our logo: Maljan

The Silvermuseet has a stylized Mary shawl in its logo. The mala is a Hail Mary monogram, a symbol of the mother of Jesus, and consists of a Gothic M, often with a crown.
The malja is a common form of jewelry in Nordic folk costumes as well as in the Sami costume.
