The Spanish flu in Arjeplog

2020

In 2020, it was 100 years since the Spanish flu ravaged the municipality of Arjeplog, something we wanted to commemorate. What we didn't know was that the exhibition would be presented in the middle of an ongoing pandemic. With the greatest respect for what the Covid pandemic caused, one approach to the material was to compare now and then, where both similarities and differences existed.

The exhibition was well attended and we also had the opportunity to show it to all high school students in Arjeplog.
The exhibition was digitized and is still available.
