The Silvermuseet is located next to Riksväg 95 (Silvervägen) in central Arjeplog, at Torget.

The same building also houses the Arjeplog tourist information office.

Extra opening hours 500 SEK/hour

The Silvermuseet also offers several school programs and the possibility to rent a conference room.

Accessibility

The main entrance of the Silvermuseet is reached via a ramp.

The Silvermuseet's three floors are reached by elevator, which is located next to the entrance. There is also an elevator adjacent to the group entrance that leads directly to the exhibition rooms Östan, Västan and Polstjärnan

Adapted toilets are available on the ground floor and basement level.

The auditorium is equipped with a hearing loop.

You can visit the library during the regular opening hours of the Silver Museum. Register your visit at the reception.

Visits to the archives and storerooms must be booked in advance. Contact the Silvermuseet reception for information. We are happy to show the collections that are not visible in the exhibitions, so do not hesitate to contact us.

You can take photos/films without flash in the exhibitions. Some objects may not be photographed, these are labeled. If you post on social media, please tag us.

For commercial photography/filming, please contact the Silver Museum reception, 0961-145 00.

Yes, the card is valid for both the Silver Museum and Doktorsgården.

The museum shop

The shop is where your visit to the museum begins, it is located directly to the left of the entrance.
