Hydropower, forestry and mining - what are the consequences for you?

Blue landscape picture. Frosty branches in the foreground, dark water with a pond.

We are joined by Gudrun Norstedt and Åsa Össbo from Várdduo, Umeå University. The two researchers are interested in looking at how different developments have affected us who live in Arjeplog - and hope that you want to share your experience.

For a long time, the landscape and natural resources of Arjeplog have been used for hydropower, forestry and mining. On Wednesday, October 18 at 18.00, we invite you to a conversation about how these activities have affected and affect both the local community and individual families.

Gudrun, Åsa and Malin Brännström will talk about a research idea they are working on and would like to get your views and thoughts on what is important to consider in this work.

Anyone interested in these issues is very welcome!

Coffee is on us.

Welcome - Burist båhtem!
