The Swedish Art Society's annual summer exhibition is something out of the ordinary! Here you can meet Swedish legends and international stars - in wool!
Piteå-born artist Monika Eriksson, who lives in Stockholm, says this about the exhibition:
"In my needlepoint sculptures I try to
capture the uniqueness and personality of each face.
I have always been fascinated by faces as motifs.
I want to show my personal interpretation of faces and individuals with my exhibition.
The sculptures communicate with each other.
They send a secret message through their gaze.
Now Arjeplog Art Association in collaboration with the Silvermuseet and ABF invites you to a vernissage with mingle and snacks. The artist is on site during the vernissage.
