During his lifetime, the founder of the Silvermuseet, Einar Wallquist, wrote several books, both fiction and non-fiction. Most of the books were novels, but all were based on the Doctor's experiences of life in Arjeplog. The books were translated into many languages, and in 1942 a movie was made of the first book "Kan doktorn komma?".
The book describes, albeit in novel form, the doctor's first time in the municipality - and the movie of the same name as the book is based on these stories. This Thursday, you will have the opportunity to see the movie here with us.
