Summer Thursday 27/6: Vernissage - Summer graves and winter peace
What's new

The Konstförening's annual summer exhibition features textile stories by artist Stina Edin.
On her website she writes about her work, where she uses traditional weaving techniques to create woven worlds:
In my work, the loom is a primary tool and means of transportation [...] I weave with rags and yarns that have been left over or with materials that have a strong connection to function and tradition. The work moves between image and sculpture, analog and digital, play and seriousness. By weaving, I want to create movement and life.
Now Arjeplog's art association in collaboration with the Silvermuseet invites you to a vernissage with mingle and snacks. The artist is on site during the vernissage.
