We don't want to say that summer is coming to an end - but we have to admit that the time for the Silvermuseet summer exhibitions is ticking away.
The art exhibition Face to Face by wool artist Monika Eriksson has been a popular feature at Silvermuseet Östan. In this exhibition you will meet Swedish legends and international stars as you have never seen them before - in wool! Using needle felting techniques, Monika has felted her sculptures, which include Bob Dylan and Sara Lidman. And maybe you recognize the gentlemen in the picture?
The exhibition is on display until August 31, 2023

Arjeplogs Konstförening in samarr. with Silvermuseet and ABF
The exhibition 50 winters of testing is housed in Västan and describes through images, film, text and objects the emergence of the automotive testing industry in Arjeplog - from a swept ice rink for seaplanes to today's testing industry that is noticeable throughout the municipality and far beyond. There is something for everyone in this exhibition, and if you haven't seen it or want to see it again, it is on display until September 30, 2023.
