Tuesday 6/2 at 18.00 you are welcome to celebrate the Sami National Day here at the Silvermuseet! In addition to good coffee and pleasant socializing, there will be a film screening, book talk, pop-up bibblo and children's activity!
Did you miss the book launch of Alvos giehto - Terrible Stories from Arjeplog? Now you get another chance to take part in the work behind this cultural treasure! Inger Fjällås will talk about how she and Peter have worked on the texts and the translations into Pite Sami. I want to know more about the book.
If you like joik, we will show the documentary Juoigan/Jojk by Maj Lis Skaltje.

You will be able to borrow books in Sámi or with Sámi themes in the pop-up library that will be on site during the evening and all children have the opportunity to make their own party brooch!
And of course, there will be good coffee.
