Lecture 25/1 at 18.00 - the future of forestry
What's new

Mikael Karlsson, author of the book Konsten att chavga träd och ha skogen kvar (The Art of Cutting Trees and Keeping the Forest), will give a lecture on the future of forestry.
An alternative to the felling/clear-cutting model is the Lübeck model, which involves felling the forest without clear-cutting.
Can it be used in Arjeplog? And is it possible to design forestry so that both economy, climate benefits and nature values increase?
A warm welcome! Burist båhtem!
The lecture is part of Mähttse - Forest Landscape, a two-year project funded by the Postcode Foundation. In samarr. with Argentis and Arjeplogs Allmänningsskogar.
I want to know more about the Mähttse - Forest Landscape project.
