Just over a week left until the Älskade museer weekend, the start of the fall holidays where we offer free admission to all visitors and also welcome all newcomers to the municipality!
If you are new to our beautiful municipality, we would like to wish you a warm welcome to the Silver Museum at 13.00 - 15.00. We will offer you a sandwich cake*, a welcome bag and tell you about your new home municipality. The municipality's relocation coordinator and the business company Argentis will also be there.
Take the opportunity to come and learn more about the museum and the history of the town, visit the exhibitions, find out about association activities and get to know others who are also new to the municipality. What's more, the tourist information office will tell you about the gems you don't want to miss!

October 28-29 is the national museum weekend "Beloved Museums! The weekend was established by the national organization Museums Sweden to celebrate the opening of museums after the Corona pandemic. Now it's an annual kick-off to the fall holidays, but also a way to recognize the important role museums play in society. Find out what's happening at other museums across the country here.
